1x DELIVERY DRIVER
(07:00 - 15:00)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily to work as a delivery driver delivering and collecting our own goods and stock to and from our various customers and suppliers.
Deliveries are usually palletised and unloaded with a forklift truck. There will be times where you will have to load and unload manually. A certain level of physical fitness is therefore required. Manual handling training will be given if the applicant hasn’t already received this training.
We currently carry out deliveries using panel vans and curtain sided vans up to 3.5 tonne GVW (Category B). It is essential that the post holder has a current clean UK driving licence that permits them to drive this class of vehicle, Class C1 (7.5 tonne) would be an advantage.

MAIN TASKS:
- Transporting Deliveries
- Loading and unloading stock.
- Delivering and collecting stock.
- Driving in a safe and courteous manner observing all legal requirements for load and road.
- Basic housekeeping and maintenance of vehicle.

- Liaising with Co-workers
- Must be able to communicate effectively with despatch, goods in and transport team.

- Dealing with Customers and Suppliers
- To ensure proof of deliveries are correctly documented with signature, printed name and date of delivery.

- Maintaining Records
- Must be able to keep a variety of records including mileage, vehicle checks and weekly time sheets.

GENERAL BEESWIFT TRANSPORT REQUIREMENTS & ABILITIES:
- To be able to load and secure goods for delivery in the correct manner.
- To be able to navigate to destination using sat nav, map and initiative.
- Actively participate as a team member in decision making / problem solving.
- To show initiative, and to work independently with little or no supervision if needed.
- To conduct yourself to a high standard on and off the premises.
- Must be able to work as part of the team ensuring utmost safety and security to all staff and equipment
- Candidate will be required to undertake other duties as deemed reasonable by Beeswift that may not be part of the original contract, a certain amount of flexibility is required.

HOURS: - Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. 30 minutes must be taken for lunch. Hours and break times to be agreed with the Transport Manager.
- Hours are to be recorded on provided timesheets and handed in weekly or monthly depending on employment status.
- On occasion you may be required to work overtime to complete deliveries etc.

2 X QC DEPARTMENT - QC ASSISTANT


Containers:
Check the condition of all containerised and general haulage goods whilst still on vehicles.
Take photographic images as evidence if goods and or container are damaged prior to product removal and report accordingly to Technical/Purchasing.
Carry out full inspection and dimensional checks in line with QC Procedure. Inclusive of scanner/barcode checking.
Control the flow of product with goods inward team during QC.
Return all goods for re-boxing prior to being placed in stock/warehouse.

Packaging waste regulations:
Work with MS on packaging and product details, upload on system when required. Good maths abilities required.

RMA procedure:
Monitor all customer returns placing re-saleable items in stock and maintain tidiness of the returns area.

Cubic Scanner:
Highly accurate data recording of the following with the use of a Cubic Scanner machine, PDA & Handheld Scanner
- Outer Box Weights and Dimensions
- All inner Box Weights and Dimensions
- All SKU lines data is correct in regard to UOM selling
- All Packaging Waste Date is correct
- Input of all the above into various formats for IT to drag information as and when required
- Upkeep and maintenance of high value company property
Liaising with other members of the office departments to ensure all DATA is being completed in the correct relevant order.

Other Duties:
Complete sample requests and pick them from the sample room before sending them out to the correct customers.
Assist marketing when required to pick samples for exhibitions and place back when returned.
Maintain tidiness of QC Lab/Office.
Re-bag garments and place back into stock where possible.
Assist purchasing with checking samples/fabrics/weights of fabrics etc as requested.
Hours of working for this dept are 06.00 till 14.00 hours with 30 minutes taken for lunch break. All Contracted hours are subject to change with 30 days prior notice
Overtime for QC is only to be done when authorised with the Technical Manager.

Shift pattern 14:00hrs - 22:00hrs
- Full valid UK driving License preferable

Key Responsibilities: General and Task Management

Job Role:
This job role will be responsible for control of the testing, certification and data storage for a range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that fall under the categories of PARTNER BRANDS. This role will consist of assisting the technical manager in assuring that the PPE products meet the requirements of both the PPE Regulation and all relevant EN/ISO standards.
It is preferred that applicants have some experience within Health and Safety, or with PPE products, however all required knowledge and skills will be trained on the job.

Testing and Certification:
All PPE products must undergo testing from an accredited Notified Body against standard criteria listed within EN/ISO standards to ascertain health and safety of the product. If the product passes on the criteria, a certificate can be issued to assure quality.
Within this role, there will be liaison with both the Notified Bodies and suppliers to ensure the transfer of correct documentation. Any required amendments to documentation or issues raised during the testing process will also be handled within this role.
Contact with Notified Bodies will include discussion related details of product testing and certification and obtaining clarification of requirements listed within EN/ISO Standards where applicable. Contact with suppliers will include ascertaining whether the product meets UK and European Regulation, relaying any and all issues raised within testing as well as working towards resolving these issues.

Document Creation:
During the certification process there may be a requirement for amendments to current technical documentation, or the creation of new documentation for PPE products. This role will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of PPE documentation using Adobe Illustrator, including but not limited to; user information sheets, product technical markings, care labels, engraving etc.

Data Storage:
Under regulation guidelines, a technical file including certification, external reports and product information should be stored for a number of years. Therefore, this role will also be responsible for the maintenance of the technical files for current and future products within the specified PPE Categories.

Additional Information:
Beeswift’s Technical department is highly collaborative, working closely with a number of departments including Quality Control, Purchasing and Marketing as well as working to assist one another.

As this role will include exposure to product specific technical information, there is a requirement to provide support to Sales staff/Customers with technical queries.

- Prepare and complete orders for dispatch such as picking and packing, wrapping
pallets, and preparing labels for shipping goods
- Unpacking deliveries from various suppliers
- Moving stock items around by hand, pallet truck, or forklift (if licence held)
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Ensuring all paperwork up to date
- Cleaning work areas and general housekeeping duties within the warehouse

Requirements for this position:
- Previously worked in a warehouse environment is desirable, but not essential
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Excellent communication skills
- A good work ethic and be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work unsupervised and use your own initiative
- Must be flexible and able to work in a diverse team of people
- A HLOP/VNA licence is desirable but not essential
